Build a dashboard

Create a canvas with pages, set a default data source, add tiles, and save the layout.

Why it matters

Dashboards are how teams operationalize metrics every day.

How to use

  1. Dashboards → New Dashboard.
  2. Turn Edit on.
  3. Set Default data source.
  4. Add widgets and configure each tile.
  5. Save tiles, then save the layout.
  6. Turn Edit off to view live.

  1. Dashboards → open board → Edit → Add chart / KPI / table.

Success check: Live tiles load in view mode.

Common mistakes

  • Skipping the default data source.
  • Using Semantic before any model is published.
