Configure workspace access

After connecting, select the source and use Import (catalog), Access (table grants), and More for extra options.

Why it matters

Import keeps the catalog current; Access controls which tables this workspace can query.

How to use

  1. Open Configure workspace access.
  2. Select your connector.
  3. Import: refresh catalog, review changes, Apply.
  4. Access: choose allowed tables and save.
  5. More: review advanced options if needed.

Success check: Import and Access show complete for the tables you intend to use.

Common mistakes

  • Applying a refresh that removes tables still used in models without reading the preview.
  • Granting every table when only a few are needed.
