First workspace

5–10 min after you have access

A workspace is where connectors, models, reports, and dashboards live for one team or project. The first workspace is created during Workspace setup after you accept your organization invitation (or after free-trial sign-in when that path is offered).

Why it matters

The right workspace keeps access, catalogs, and assets organized under your organization.

How to use

  1. Accept your invitation and sign in (or continue from free trial when offered).
  2. Complete Workspace setup: organization name, industry, company website, workspace name, and cloud data platform.
  3. Confirm the 7-day organization trial starts when setup finishes.
  4. You are taken to Data sources to connect.
  5. Later, org owners add teammates from Settings → Members.

Success check: Home and the left navigation show your workspace name; Settings → Billing reflects trial or plan status.

Common mistakes

  • Skipping Workspace setup and expecting a fully provisioned org.
