Refreshing the catalog copies the latest tables and columns from your database into Afialytics so models and dashboards stay aligned.

Why it matters

Stale catalogs cause missing fields and confusing errors in Ask Oma and Semantic tiles.

When to use

  • Schema changed upstream.
  • You connected a source for the first time.
  • Someone reports missing columns.

How to use

  1. Open the connector under Configure.
  2. Run catalog refresh on Import.
  3. Read the preview of added and removed items.
  4. Apply when the preview looks correct.

Success check: The workspace catalog matches the database structure you expect.
