Why it matters

Shared definitions reduce conflicting metric debates and help new teammates ramp faster.

When to use

  • You need to understand what a table contains.
  • You want to document a column for analysts.

How to use

  1. Open Data dictionary.
  2. Browse sources and tables.
  3. Open a table to inspect columns.
  4. Add or edit descriptions where you have permission.

Click path

  1. Left nav → Data dictionary.
