Invite people

Add people who should open the dashboard. Tab and chart restrictions only apply to people who can already view the board.

Why it matters

Explicit invites keep private boards private while still collaborating.

How to use

  1. Open Share.
  2. Add people who should view.
  3. Save.
  4. If someone is missing from the list, ask an org owner to add them from Settings → Members (Create org member) first.

  1. Dashboard → Share → people list.
  2. “Invite them here” style links go to Members so an org owner can create the member first.

Success check: Invited people appear with view access.

Common mistakes

  • Trying to allow-list a chart for someone who cannot open the dashboard at all.
