Pinned KPIs

Pin KPI tiles from dashboards (or eligible reports) so they appear on Home. Cards show the last known value quickly, then refresh from live data when available.

Why it matters

Keeps critical metrics visible for standups and leadership without opening every board.

When to use

  • A KPI is checked often.
  • You want a personal shortlist—not a full dashboard.

How to use

  1. Open a dashboard KPI tile.
  2. Use the tile menu to pin it to Home (wording may say pin / watchlist).
  3. Return to Home and confirm the card appears.
  4. Unpin from the card menu when you no longer need it.

Click path

  1. Dashboard (view mode) → KPI ⋮ → pin to Home.
  2. Home → card ⋮ → unpin.

Success check: Pinned cards show on Home with a clear value.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting a pin to recreate a deleted dashboard tile—pins follow the source dashboard.
  • Pinning chart types that are not KPIs.
